Sanatçının piyasaya ilk defa çıktığı tarih 2005. bu yıl itibari ile Bir Gün isimli bir albümü çıkaran sanatçı, böylece rap dünyasında da yavaş yavaş tanınmaya başlandı. Şarkıcının en büyük hamlesi ise Türkiye’de sevilen sanatçılardan olan Ayşe Hatun Önal ile yaptığı düet oldu. Hey DJ adlı şarkı ile daha fazla kişiye ulaşmayı başaran Ege Çubukçu, böylece yakın takibe alındı.
Sanatçının yakaladığı bu başarı beraberinde ödülleri de getirdi. Öyle ki 2006 yılı itibari ile Radyo Boğaziçi Müzik Ödülleri’nde ve 2008’de Radyo N101 Müzik Ödülleri’nde en iyi rap sanatçısı olarak ödül almaya hak kazanan Ege Çubukçu, rap dünyasında da çok iddialı olduğunu gösterdi.
